Jen Osgood-Pinette

Jen has been riding horses since the young age of 7. For as long as she can remember she has loved horses and had a keen desire to go fast!

Her first dream was to be a racehorse jockey, but that dream quickly changed when she well out grew the jockey height requirement. Since then, Jen has done some show jumping and pleasure shows, but her heart settled on rodeo,  with a specific interest in barrel racing.

“I have been fortunate enough to learn from some amazing horsemen and horsewomen as well as vets and equine therapists. I have also been blessed with some amazing equine athletes who have allowed me to learn, grow, teach, win, lose, and discover faith in myself as a jockey, trainer and horsewoman.

I have always trained my own horses. In addition, I have an equine sciences diploma; which makes me extra conscious of what my horses eat and how they feel. I have been a believer in Elite Three from the very beginning!

I love the way my horses look and feel. I even have all my dogs on it! I have seen everything from coat changes, digestion changes, attitude changes, muscle changes, and my main rodeo mare runs stronger and sounder. They all love it and it is so easy to feed!”

“My goals as a horsewoman, barrel racer, and trainer are to continue to learn new training methods in order to better myself and my horses. I want to win at pro rodeo levels and compete at all the big rodeos I’ve always seen on TV, on horses that I’ve raised and trained.”
